John Mahoney and Beverly Farahani did a presentation on using TI Navigator™ in math class. John shared some of the benefits of using a Navigator system in the class. Participants were given a login identity in order to be part of a "class." Participants were shown how to use the activity centre features from Quick Poll to contributing lines and points. The screen capture feature was also demonstrated. A photo of a fence that was somewhat sinusoidal was used as a background in order to contribute points. The points were then forced sent to the class as lists, so they could curve fit them in order to later send back the equation. During the activities, comments and questions were addressed.
