Distance learning through video conferencing enables a larger number of participants to take part in the SSTP courses in real time along with the participants at PCMI. Funded by the National Science Foundation through PD3, the IAS/PCMI Math Science Partnership, e-tables in Cincinnati, Ohio enabled PD3 teachers to take part in the mathematics course.
