Teacher Professional Continuum Summary

Monday - Friday, July 14 - 18, 2008

The TPC group has grown with John Mahoney's arrival from ICME-11. Our writing continues to focus on the 2008 materials. John is doing the initial writing with an emphasis on the mathematical ideas and then Peg is refining that work to be aligned with the facilitator's guide template. The group continues to meet each day with Ben and Darryl to debrief on the mathematics and the dynamic of the morning class in order to capture a variety of perspectives as well as to provide feedback to assist with design of the problem sets.
