Guidelines for 3rd Week

A social justice math education stance requires a systemic approach that includes fair and equitable teaching practices; high expectations for all students; access to rich, rigorous, and relevant mathematics; and strong family/community relationships to promote positive mathematics learning and achievement. Our SJ Working Group is going to tackle this issue of "access" in a variety of ways that will give teachers a toolbox of ideas for incorporating more social justice into their math practice.
