| Geometry Working GroupMonday, July 23On Monday Dr. Singer, a long-time professor at MIT and a legendary teacher/professor spoke to our group about changes he has seen in mathematics through the years. He got his doctorate in 1950 and had half a century of experience to gift us with! He commented that mathematics was regarded as more discrete and now he has seen barriers breaking down. He gave examples of physics and mathematics working cooperatively to great effect. We then worked for an hour on our write-up, learning new skills such as inserting links, photos and other glitzy things. Ain't technology grand!!!.
