Making Mathematics Meaningful

We decided that we're going to continue to work in our small groups and meet back at 2:45 p.m. Everyone is to have their 10 copies ready to share with everyone in the group. Next week we’d like to fine-tune everything and start to actually design the web page. Dave leaves us on Saturday and Dori will be taking over in a "leadership" position thereafter.

Intro: This group finished the rough draft of the introductory page of the web site. And sent a copy to Shelly and Nate for their input.

MTRN: They’ve developed some criteria and a list of questions for using newspaper articles in a mathematics classroom. Tomorrow their plan is to give the other members a list of the questions and criteria with a short article to investigate.

Web Sites: This group continued to search the web and some worked on their abstracts for tomorrow.
