| Japanese Lesson StudyFriday, July 20We ironed out specifics in our lesson in preparation for presenting it to the teachers at 4:30. It was agreed that Y.T. would present the lesson to the teachers, and Karen would present it to the students. We discussed the scale of our ³hook² problem, possible student difficulties, and how best to create a meaningful mathematical experience in our limited time. We discussed what materials would be helpful and appropriate, and what we needed to convey in our summary and discussion periods. |
