Physics in the Math CurriculumMonday, July 16Pat presented a couple of cool physics demonstrations. Chuck discussed how he incorporated physics into his college classes. Essentially, he uses physical situations to set up inverse function problems. In these, students need to employ thinking skills that required them to analyze problems deeply and employ a variety of techniques to solve the problem. Once Pat and Chuck had presented, all members went about working on their projects that will be presented to the hstp group next Tuesday. |
