Teacher Professional Continuum SummaryMonday - Friday, July 16 - 20, 2007The TPC group continued developing facilitator materials to compliment the 2007 and 2004 materials. The group met through Thursday with Ben and Bowen to debrief on the mathematics and the dynamic of the morning class in order to capture a variety of perspectives. Sarah and Al continued to be in contact frequently via email. The template, which Cathy and Sendhil developed in week 1, was employed by both groups to frame their writing of the guides as well as to direct discussions during debriefing. Cathy and Sendhil have created a nearly complete first draft of the 2007 facilitator's guide. John has created a rough draft of a solution guide for the 2004 materials and Peg has completed a first draft of the facilitator's guide for the first week of that material. All currently completed materials have been sent to Al and Sarah, though certain group members are continuing their writing. |
