Participants will explore selected functions from multiple perspectives, particularly with respect to the emphasis in the CCSS. Functions of interest may include polynomials and trigonometric functions as well as matrix functions or geometric transformations. One possible topic is the use of computer algebra systems to work with functions and how these can support or hinder learning.
